Designing and implementing a region-specific safety strategy based on the principles of ZERO HARM which delivers compliance and behavioural change in the region;
Responsible for delivering on the regional operating plan and business commitments with regards to ensuring that monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets are met;
Creating and executing new business growth strategies that ensures budget achievement and increased market share while focussing on projects that promotes customers’ achievement of ESG and sustainability goals;
Mitigating the risk of customer attrition by building effective personal relationships with key senior customer stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of Business Excellence is correctly applied and customer retention tools are implemented and used to its full effect;
Leveraging other company relationships where relevant in order to build strategic customer relationships;
Managing a multi-functional team of sales, service delivery, technical, operational and administrative employees towards achievement of regional budget expectations by utilising specific tools for goal setting, employee development and performance management as well as by personal coaching and training;
Requirements Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
Degree or Diploma in commercial/business or technical field with > 5 years’ experience in middle management positions;
A proven track record of related growth generation achievements;
Mining / Heavy industry / Process / Engineering expertise and related technical abilities / achievements;
Ownership of key strategic relationships in the industry / geography;
Must possess a high level of business acumen and understanding of financial management;
Above average computer skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
Must be in possession of a valid driver’s licence;
