Job Summary
Our Pietermaritzburg based client is looking for a Foundry/ Casting Process Engineer to oversee and improve the casting product quality. The role would best suit a vibrant, energetic engineer who is seeking challenges and growth .
Minimum Requirements
- Engineering Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process or Industrial Engineering, or a very strong and proven technical ability with any other technical qualification
- Strong production process data analysis ability (process variables)
- Proven track record in managing production machinery or production processes
- Proven technical track record and hands-on ability on the production floor
- Proven skills in technical problem solving
- Proven ability to solve manufacturing challenges with a team
- Proven leadership ability in a technical environment
- 10 years work experience with 3-5 years in a technical or production leadership role
Beneficial

- Python programming
- Magma simulation software
- Experience in quality control processes
