Job Summary
Job Description:
- Reports to Principal Civil/Structural Engineer.
- Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
- Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
- Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
- Responsible for receiving design information from engineers and producing works drawings in structural steel or reinforced concrete.
- A good knowledge of working to either national survey co-ordinates or site specific systems.
Special Qualities Or Experience Required:
- Software: AutoCAD/MicroStation, Aveva E3D/PDMS.
- Task and detail orientated, Structural Steel and Reinforced Concrete detailing.
- Previous experience in the Petrochemical industry is preferable but not essential.
Qualifications:
- Essential Diploma/Degree with 6 to 10 years related experience.
