Technical Sales Representative required with experience in the light material handling environment. Required to service new and existing customers. Must have a background in external sales and have track record achieving targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setting up daily meetings with existing and new clients
daily
Daily client visits to access stock levels, offer solutions
and problem solving
Cold calling
Conduct market analyses on competitors’ markets and
product ranges and pricing to ensure that the
company has the competitive edge
Identify opportunities in new market sectors as well as
the need for new potential products
Setting out specific sales forecasts
Achieving of monthly and annual sales targets set out
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Matric with Mathematics
A minimum of 2 years proven external sales experience in a technical field
Must have a valid driver’s licence
Must be willing to travel within the KZN region
Knowledge of conveyors, automation or plastics
industry would be an advantage
Excellent Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written
Strong Negotiation Skills
Must be MS Office literate (Intermediate to Advanced)
CRM Management and Call Planning
Resilient, resourceful personality/character
Strong business acumen with Entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of position
