Manage an assigned sales area and key products to maximize sales revenues and meet sales objectives. To build the sales market and strategic customer and business relationships within assigned sales area.
Responsibilities
Searching for and capitalizing on new and existing product/ project opportunities
Required to exceed set out monthly or quarterly targets
Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information, and develop an in-depth understanding of the relevant market sectors, opportunities, customers and opposition
Identifying trends that effect current and future growth of regional sales and profitability and disseminate information to Business Development
Building and maintaining relationships with key customers
Coordination of effective business presentations to various levels of audiences
Requirements
Matric as a minimum
Technical qualification – N6 or equivalent
5 - 7 of proven technical and external sales experience within the industry preferably electronic/electrical sector
Previous experience in a similar role with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
Ability to develop and successfully implement account plans, forecasts, reports and call plans
Be determined, tenacious and own the position
Possess a strong business commercial acumen and outcome focus
