Job Summary
Open position: Estimation Assistant (Contract Position)
Location: Port Elizabeth
Salary: Market Related
Type: Contract / Temp
Reports to: Management
Job Requirements:
- Electrical Experience Required with Electrical Qualification an Advantage
- Additional studies welcomed in the direction suited to this position
- Experience in Project Costing would be Advantageous
- 2 years’ Work Experience
- Experience in the Automotive Automation would be Advantageous
Duties:
- Understanding Technical Requirements of Clients in the Automotive Industry
- Creating of Concept Solutions
- Preparation and Formatting of Tender Documentation
- Obtaining Supplier Quotes
- Manage Internal Project Folder Structures
- Comparing updated RFQ's to previous revisions to check for changed scope
- Determining and Costing of Electrical and Controls Hardware and Labour Required for Potential Projects
- Becoming Familiar with Client Specific Electrical and Controls Hardware Standards
- Updating Documents for New Tender Revisions
- Costing of Small Tenders
- Co-ordinate with out-of-town personnel to arrange site visits if required in order to tender
- Checking Data Accuracy in Client Purchase Orders
- ADHOC Tasks
