Job Summary
Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years experience in CNC operating and programming
CNC programming - CAM and related Programming Software
Experience in Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhein controls
Computer literacy in MSWord - Excel, Word and Outlook (advanced)
Machining knowledge and hardware
Fault finding and trouble shooting
People skills and focused on customer service and quality
A people person, technologically skilled in software and file management
Remain up to date with software field developments
Ability to work in a team, whilst maintaining independent thinking
Highly result driven, and a self-starter
Excellent communication skills
Good business skills to understand commercial value and to tailor it to address the client's needs
Able to conduct simple and complex tasks with limited supervision
Duties:
Pre-Sales: Demonstration of software, demo preparation, post processors, show prep and set-up, live demo cuts
Installations: Installation of software, configure & test post processors, prepare cables (if required), set up communications, get all documentation signed off and handed in
Training: Arrange dates beforehand, all documentation & payment to be received prior to course, ensure sufficient candidates attend, ensure PCs & equipment are working, latest version installed, sufficient manuals printed, follow training procedure, evaluation at end of training
Support: As per support outline procedure list - telephonic support, online support, on-site support, Vero support portal, call outs, progress reports to customers and logging of all support cases
Conduct Operator training at customer's sites throughout JHB, DBN, CPT and PE
Eager to enjoy frequent travel assignments
Provide high-quality technical/programming assistance to customers to ensure optimal performance of their equipment
Assist with Installations and Projects
Act as a company ambassador promoting our products and work directly with customers during installations and operator training to enable business success
Service a spectrum of clients including technicians, sales, engineering and production staff to deliver excellent customer service
