Education:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related qualification
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in technical or project sales within an electrical/industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty electrical equipment, power systems, switchgear, transformers, or control systems
- Proven track record in selling into mining, utilities, or large industrial clients
- Experience with custom-built or engineered electrical solutions
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and provide fit-for-purpose solutions
- Strong commercial acumen with negotiation and contract experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries
- Promote and sell industrial electrical equipment and custom power solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Provide technical consultation and develop tailored solutions
- Prepare and present professional quotations, proposals, and tenders
- Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to project closure
- Conduct site visits, technical presentations, and client engagements
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity
