Job overview:
Manage all pre-sale B2B client interactions, to ensure the highest level of quality service is delivered consistently - to ultimately achieve increased revenue through sales. Provide administrative support to the Business Development team. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance customer service, increase sales and efficiency, and the overall profitability of the business.
Responsibilities:
- Research to build lead generation
- Target driven canvassing role
- Reports to and acts under the Head of Business Development and accepts limited functional direction from the Sales Managers. All other decisions must be in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, and those of the company’s customers
- Acts as the primary and secondary point of contact for all sales and customer enquiries and requests
- Handle all website enquiries
- Qualify sales leads
- Resolve sales-related issues and provide real-time customer support
- Interpret and communicate customer’ requirements to Business Development team and other relevant stakeholders
- Follow-up on outstanding quotes
- Send orders report to customers, as required
- Build customer relationships
- Attend Operations meetings and contribute in a meaningful way
- Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders, to ensure a seamless sales process
- Maintain high level industry knowledge
- Investigate and evaluate alternative solutions, to improve the overall customer experience
- Prepare minutes from customer meetings
- Action follow-up points arising from customer meetings/minutes
- Update Sales Managers’ calendars and set reminders
- Complete marketing reports and analytics, as directed
- Identify efficiencies and cost savings in work processes
- Responsive to all business contacts
- Participate in business improvement initiatives and projects
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification supported by 2-3 years’ experience in a similar target driven B2B telesales role
- Relevant qualification in Sales/Administration would be advantageous
- Demonstrated organisational ability
- Excellent administrative skills
- Advanced skills in MS Office Suite
- Proven skills in data research and analytics
- Good commercial acumen
- Track record of success in customer liaison
- Thorough understanding of sales processes
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English
- Above average typing speed with high accuracy
- Understanding of CRM and ERP systems
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office products
