Job Summary

An established consulting engineering firm (civil, structural and traffic engineering) in Alberton seeks the services of a qualified Civil Engineer, registered with ECSA as professional or candidate engineer. The following will be applicable: • Develop drawings from preliminary concepts and sketches using Autocad 2018 or earlier version and Revit. • Structural analyses and design (reinforced concrete and structural steel) using Prokon and / or other applicable design software. • Prepare material estimates • Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings • Conduct field surveys, inspections or technical investigations of topography, soils, drainage systems, buildings and structures to provide data for engineering projects • Perform other technical functions in support of civil engineering activities • Must be fully computer literate, especially in MS Word and Excel • B Eng (Civil) minimum Qualification • Valid driver’s license • Residing in or in relatively close proximity to Alberton • Working hours: Weekdays 08:00 to 17:00 (negotiable) • Overtime: As arranged and when required • Salary package: Negotiable • Three month probation period CV’s can be emailed to vanstraten@worldonline.co.za with additional information indicating: • Availability (earliest commencement of employment) • Expected Remuneration Package
