Senior Draughtsman needed in Randfontein.
Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
Relevant Courses in Autodesk Products Completed.
Membership of an Appropriate Professional Body will be advantageous.
Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle.

Salary: R28 000 – R30 000
5 – 8 years’ experience with 3D modelling using Autodesk Inventor.
1 – 4 years’ experience with Water Treatment Technologies (MUST).
3 Years minimum working experience on Autodesk 3DS Max.
Experience with Autodesk Plant3D, Vault, or Navisworks Manage is beneficial.
Experience working with iLogic and iparts is beneficial.
Experience in draughting RO plants is beneficial.
Must have mining background.
Mechanical/Piping/Structural Draughtsman is responsible for using Autodesk Inventor to assist the engineering team & workshop with the design and visualization of the process and Water Treatment Plants designed by the engineering team.
Produce General Arrangement (G.A.) drawings which present the design for manufacturing.
Communicate with the engineering team, technical manager, technicians & workshop manager.
High level of competency and attention to detail is required in designing the physical plant by considering how it’ll be built, cost of materials, stock availability, functionality of the system & the equipment required to build.
Use Autodesk AutoCAD to assist the process and project engineers with Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID’s).
Redraw hand drawings in AutoCAD adhering to company’s drawing standards.
Maintain drawing standards & develop those standards with the assistance of the workshop manager, the technical manager & the engineering team. (Includes standards for drawing templates, P&ID symbols, and processes for drawing revisions & revision records).
Create, maintain, and store G.A. and P&ID drawings for standard products sold by the company.
Building, maintaining & backing up the CAD parts library.
