Job Summary
Bilnor Projects is an Engineering and Construction company situated at Lydenburg -Mpumalanga Province, that specialize with underground construction. The company has a vacant Position for a Strong Dynamic and Self driven -Belt Installation Site Supervisor.
Purpose of Job
To Organise, supervise, lead, control and manage +- 20 people on the belt installation, extension, reclaiming and any other related construction work and report timeous to the Projects Manager.
To ensure that the agreed Projects deadlines are met and to ensure client satisfactions.
To ensure that ALL client’s relevant standards, Bilnor standards, including the Mine Health and Safety Act is adhered to during projects execution.
To identify Business – Engineering opportunity in your area of management and elsewhere
Key responsibilities
Support the overall operational management of the Company for the site under your management.
Client service
Excellent projects planning, execution, commissioning and management
Assist with implementation of, and maintaining technical standards and procedures in the
operational sites
Measure the efficiency of every employee – through company mechanism and ensure that every
team member perform to his optimal ability.
Ensure that the organizational code of conduct is adhered to – by implementing and maintaining a
high discipline standard in accordance to company disciplinary procedures.
Ensure site profitability by adhering to the organizational business methods (profit optimization and
costs cutting) on all projects.
Willing to work underground
Production debottlenecking and troubleshooting
Responsible for adequate monitoring and timely reporting of Projects Progress to the Projects
Manager or the top management

Ensure adherence to the company’s health and safety standard and the clients regulations and procedures
Good employee relation and effective people management
Knowledge/Education Requirement
Matric Certificate /Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science), N4 or equivalent Must have at least one Trade as Boilermaker or Fitter
Competent B
Supervisory qualification will be advantageous
Experience and Requirements
Minimum 5 years post qualification experience on the Mining and Construction field
Must have underground conveyor belt construction (must have worked on chrome or platinum
mines)
Must have fabrication experience
Must have Broader understanding of technical drawing and analyzing ability
Must have good presentation skills
Client relations skills and willing to go extra mile to maintain client relationship
Must have at least code 8 driver license and own transport
Must have Broader conceptual skills
Personality Requirement
Team player
Self Managed, and self motivated enthusiastic individual
A natural leader with good communication skills
