Control and Instrumentation Technician
N6 or T3/S4 Control and Instrumentation Diploma.

Basic knowledge of project management principles - be flexible to the impact of potential changes, decisions or outcomes in the projects environment that will impact the behaviour of the workforce and stakeholders.
Understanding of underground mine technical system for operational and engineering support will be advantageous.
Conduct and Train Personnel on Pre work Risk Assessments, PTO’s, and Procedures.
Able to troubleshoot problems, effectively communicate and work as part of a team.
Make recommendations on equipment and systems improvements, ensuring processes are continually improved.
Flexible to the impact of potential changes, decisions or outcomes in the projects environment that will impact the behaviour of the workforce and stakeholders.
Requires the ability to work closely with stakeholder in collaborative environments.
Able to read and interpret control and instrumentation diagrams and distribution circuit maps.
Network infrastructure experience will be advantageous (Wi-Fi and fibre).
Operational technology experience will be advantageous (e.g., SCADA, Newtrax, remote cameras & remote technologies).
Investigate opportunities to create effective, value-add improved solutions.
Apply basic understanding of the Mining and Engineering value chain and associated support services to illustrate how the technology are enabling the drive of improved performances in departments.
Execute tasks within limits set by the Manager (Quality, Quantity, Time, and Resources).
Design the installation diagrams for technology hardware on the various types of equipment as per supplier recommendations and in collaborations with vendor product specialists.
Provide maintenance support and skill transfer to the broader team involved in the technology projects. Install, calibrate, operate, troubleshoot instrumentation equipment, and control systems.
Provide support to direct reports in the installation and deployment of the hardware on the equipment, daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, schedule, and plan, tracking safety, quantity, quality, timing, and cost of activities.
Medically Fit (able to pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test)
