The following qualifications and experience are essential:
Certified competent as instrumentation technician/ diploma or NQF equivalent
5 years minimum experience
ability for providing technical instrumentation support
provide technical solutions that comply with standards and procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ensure that all the process instrumentation and gauge measurement systems are correctly calibrated
Strong understanding of safety management and quality of Management systems
Strong computer skills
Although not limited to, the incumbent’s main responsibilities will include:
Plc experience
Experience on the scada / control system
Experience in heavy industrial environment
Rockwell plc and scada experience
Networking exp
Communications exp
Exp in mill control
Experience in pgm floatation.
Good general health and requires a certificate of fitness (red ticket)
