Job Summary
Fast paced automotive concern is seeking a highly experienced Trade Tested Millwright to perform the following:
REQUIREMENTS
- Perform corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance work according to company and industry standards
- Document anomalies, generate work reports and work status reports
- Request and follow material resources necessary for planned maintenance or any other tasks
- Complete documentation as required and train maintenance personnel, sharing acquired knowledge whenever required to do so
- Ensure that all plant equipment is maintained in good order and documented.
- Marking, sizing and fitting of all mechanical and electrical equipment in plant in according to schedules and orders
- Inform the Maintenance Coordinator daily of any problems that need to be resolved updates that need to be made on any drawings
- Perform any special assignments as delegated by the Maintenance Coordinator
- Ensure machinery and working areas are clear of unnecessary equipment
- To adhere to all SHE rules and regulations, as laid down by the company
- To support the Maintenance team as an active team member to perform tasks other than those mentioned above for the smooth and efficient running of the department.
Qualification/Skills/Experience Required
- N3 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification
- Trade tested Millwright
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a high production demand automotive manufacturing plant
- Basic and advanced Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electricity 380VAC 220VAC 24VDC and PLC Programming
- Computer literacy (SAP Knowledge); Welding experience (Tig, CO2, arc)
- Problem solving skills
- Willing to work rotating shifts and flexible hours
