Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality.
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Quality Assurance (Plastics experience an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge in Quality Management Systems applicable to the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Advanced Quality Planning is required, including strong proficiency with the AIAG Advanced Quality.
- Knowledge of statistical concepts, design of experiments and problem-solving methodology is required.
- Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience is required. Black Belt certification and experience with Minitab software is highly desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing methods is highly desirable.
- Proficient in use of a computer and common office software is required (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Duties and Responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Ensure compliance to all applicable quality Customer-specific systems and requirements.
- Ensure compliance of all quality controlled documentation, document change activities and record retention requirements.
- Lead and promote effective problem solving/corrective action activities for the plant.
- Assist in the preparation, maintenance, review and submission of quality deliverables.
- Oversee the Layered Audit and Product Audit program including notifying audit team to conduct audits, ensuring non-conformances are properly documented and closed out per required timing.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships resulting in excellent customer satisfaction.
- Conduct all work activities following company safety policies and procedures.
- Manage ISOTS Systems/Audits, liase with auditors and ensure execution of corrective action when required.
- Perform periodic audits on Quality processes for raw materials at external suppliers locations.
- Responsible for obtaining and documenting Product Specifications on all products.
- Manage and maintain quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
- Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
- Supervise internal and external technical staff in performing all testing.
- Write technical and management system reports.
