Management and administration of the entire repair process to meet customer requirements through team and individual efforts.
Route cause analysis reports monthly on faults discovered during repairs and feedback to branches and Engineering on these outcomes.
Determine whether a unit returned for repairs is beyond economic life and arrange to quote a replacement unit.
Similarly determine when a warrantee replacement is appropriate and liaise through Engineering to have such returned to the supplier for repair.
Participates in the analysis and composition of reports from information gathered regarding repaired units.
Assist in the implementation of new processes that will make the repair process more efficient. Innovate systems that will improve the repair process.
Assist with actual electronic repair of various products. Initial duties may include reviewing and verifying information relating to repairs, writing reports and identifying potential areas for improvement.
Duties may include ad hoc requirements from production and/or quality departments.
Work alongside stores, sales, branches administrators and repair technicians to ensure that information, data and system is administered correctly and kept up to date.
Periodic test must be carried out to verify the data is correct.
