A flooring firm need an administrator to work from their Cape Town offices 8:30-16:30 Monday to Friday.
The Administrator / Administration Assistant will work in the commercial department collating orders, setting up projects and processing general information.
The Administrator / Administration Assistant duties will include:
Collating and setting up new orders
Setting up survey packs for site measures and calculating approximate material quantities
Coordinating surveys requested and returned to manage workflow for the commercial team
Collating site measures and from these producing job packs detailing areas to be installed and material schedules for ordering (by others)
Filing/Administration
Daily checks of the commercial team voice message system, delivering messages when and where necessary
Provide holiday cover for the Commercial Department when required
Any additional tasks as requested by Commercial Director or commercial Manager
The Administrator / Administration Assistant will need:
Recent administration experience
Strong attention to detail skills and an ability to maintain them whilst working under pressure
Excellent organisational skills
A sound commercial approach to problems and solving them
Proficient in IT (especially Excel)
Proven track record within flooring would be desirable
Hours of work are 7:30-16:30 Monday to Friday.
