    • Hi Piet,

When you click on ‘Apply for this job’ and submit your info and get a success page, it means that the employer has received your CV and covering note.
The delay in reply is possibly due to the fact that the employer has received a lot of replies for the position and they are still going through all the CV’s. It can also be that they have chosen not to be notified if they have a new application and will only get the application when they log into the site.

If you have not heard from them in about 2 weeks, the best would be to give them a call to enquire on the status of your application.

Should you be concerned they did not receive your application, you can always make sure by clicking on the link below
      https://www.jobmail.co.za/pub/jobseeker/apply/view/
Click on ‘View your job applications’. If it reflects here that means the application has been sent successfully.

Thank you and good luck with your further applications!
