Junk Mail Digital is looking for a Blogger!!rnrnYou need to be eager to learn, have a good understanding of the Internet and Mobile usage and be comfortable with the technology. You need to be a good verbal and online communicator, but most importantly be able to engage people in written communication that is conversational, but informative.rnrnYour main duty will be to develop and maintain Classifieds related blogs and newsletters. You will research and write articles in a conversational style, that will be appealing to readers wanting to buy, sell or trade through Junk Mail and its partner sites. rnrnYou will interact and communicate with various internal teams (marketing, sales, IT, executive management) to insure the blog content is consistent with the company marketing objectives while still appealing to a wider audience. rnIt will be expected of you to understand use on-line and off-line social networking tools for collaboration with people inside and outside the organization. rnrnWhile preparing blog posts you will also develop copy for regular Newsletters that will be sent out to our site users. You will also be asked to work with our PR agency to develop copy for Press Releases to be dispatched to both online and more traditional media.
• Some blogging experiencing is required. Include links to the blogs you maintain our post on regularly with your CV. Content of the blog does not matter.rn• You must be computer and definitely search engine savvy so that you can perform online research related to this position.rn• Solid understanding of the elements of a blog.rn• Familiarity with Word Press, or similar blogging platform.rn• An understanding of the Internet, ftp, and the ability to develop website documents.rn• An understanding of html, web development and maintenance.rn• Use of reporting tools for analysis of traffic, referral links and reader demographicsrn• Knowledge of syndication and pinging toolsrn• Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials – with good spelling!rn• Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
