Sales Executive - Cape Town

A dynamic, international and well established company in the freight industry are looking for a strong experienced Sales Executive for their Cape Town branch.

Exp & Req:

- Must have at least 4 years experience in a clearing and forwarding environment
- Preferably, prior experience in Sales with proof of previous quarter’s sales provided.
- Preferably, must have a good understanding of Seafreight, Airfreight, Imports & Exports
- Must have a sound knowledge of the shipping industry in general
- Must have a good knowledge of international trade documentation
- Should be able to compile estimates and have a good knowledge of Incoterms
- Must have contactable references
- Must be able to liaise with clients at all levels
- Must be able to liaise with internal staff for resolution of client queries
- Must have excellent people and communication skills
- Must show ability to manage time well
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
- Must be well skilled in operating a computer and compiling proposals
- Must be flexible with time to attend to company & client social commitments after hours
- Must be able to work and organize his/her time without supervision.
